With half term on the horizon, now is the time to check your Railcard is up to date and valid. If you’re planning to use your Railcard to make the most of half term and save money on travel, please apply for your Railcard or renew your existing one, with plenty of time to spare.
You can buy a 1-year Railcard at any staffed National Rail ticket office. 3-year Railcards and renewals are available online and by phone. Please note: an essential upgrade was recently carried out on our website and some technical issues remain which may affect a small proportion of transactions. If you’re due to travel shortly and haven’t received your Railcard, you can show the email confirmation of your Railcard purchase, with additional photo ID to rail staff and they will validate your discounted ticket.
