Whether it’s food, culture or keeping the kids on their toes we’ve got 15 must try activities for under £15. Get the most out of your long weekends without breaking the bank. Or you can mix and match and make a whole day out of it depending on how ambitious you’re feeling.

Activities in London under £15

  1. With spring in the air add some colour to your life by heading over to Columbia Road Flower Market and pick up some flowers (approximately £5). Then spend the rest of the day wandering the market, it really is worth a trip, even if it is just to explore. 
  2. In the mood for something cultural? Head over to Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and get a standing ticket for a show (£5). When travelling by train you can also get 2FOR1on tours here.
  3. Head over to Hyde Park and hire a rowing boat and take a trip on Serpentine Lake (£10 for half an hour). Now that the sun isn't setting at 4pm, this is a great way to take advantage of that extra time. 
  4. Glide over the city in the Emirates Air Line cable car (£3.50). Best for starting or ending an adventure by seeing a view of London a little different from the norm. 
  5. Head to Sky Garden to soak up gorgeous 360 views of London (free). Make sure you book in advance as this modern marvel fills up fast.

Activities in Brighton under £15

  1. If you're heading to Brighton the obvious spot to head to is Brighton Beach, take a walk along the pebble beach and get refreshed with the salty sea air. (free)
  2. Take the family to Yellowave Beach Sports Venue which offers Brighton’s only sand for beach sports and a climbing wall for kids who are 5+. (Only £6.50 per class)
  3. Head to Ovingdean and explore the local sea life while rock pooling, and discover a side of nature you've never seen before.  (free)
  4. Soak up the sun and take in some live music at Pavilion Gardens surrounded by stunning greenery. (free)
  5. Head to South Downs National Park to admire the chalky white cliffs of the Seven Sisters. (free)

Activities in Liverpool under £15

  1. Head over to Sefton Park and sit amongst the daffodils for a picnic. (free)
