Railcard Gift Cards
A 16-25, Family & Friends and Senior Railcard gift card are available to purchase. You can buy a 1 year Railcard gift card for £26 online or from selected Sainsbury's, Tesco, Clinton Cards and WHSmith stores.
A Railcard gift card makes the perfect gift. It's sometimes difficult to know what to buy for a friend or family member but with a Railcard gift card you have the chance to give a year's worth of discounted rail travel to loved ones for only £26.
To turn a Railcard gift card into a Railcard only takes a few minutes and can be completed online or via the telephone (please call 08448 714 133). At the moment the 16-25 Railcard gift card cannot be redeemed over the telephone.
Please note a Railcard gift card is not a valid Railcard and will not be accepted at ticket offices.

Senior Railcard Gift Card
A Senior Railcard gift card has the same great benefits of a 1 year Senior Railcard. Once the gift card has been redeemed online or by the telephone the Railcard holder will be entitled to all of the great Senior Railcard benefits including 1/3 off most standard and First Class rail fares throughout Great Britain.
Aswell as greater savings on rail fares, Railcard holders can also take advantage of exclusive offers with our partners.
Redeeming a Railcard Gift Card
Redeeming your Railcard gift card is easy and only takes a few minutes, but before you do please read our eligibility section to ensure that you are eligible for a Senior Railcard.
Before you begin to redeem your Railcard please make sure you have the following to hand:
- A valid passport
- Or a valid UK driving licence
When your'e ready you can redeem your gift card. If you have never held a Senior Railcard you need to select the 'Redeem my Gift Card' and follow the onscreen instructions. If you already have or have had a1 year Railcard, you can renew your Railcard with your gift card by selecting 'Renew my Railcard'.
Your new Railcard will be despatched within one working day and sent to you free of charge via First Class post.
